- How will school closure affect an Achievement Center student’s final grade, if my student is failing?
If a student is currently failing a course but has completed all required course work required up until March 17, the student will automatically be assigned unit recovery for assignments with the lowest grades. If a student is currently failing a course and have not completed the required course work, they will need to complete the remainder of the course work by May 8. If time permits after the course work has been completed, teacher will reset test in order to improve student grades. Only assignments covered between January 7 and March 13 can be recovered.
If your student does not have access to the electronic device, please contact Coach Dawson, by email: email@example.com
or by text 229-529-9050 to inform him that you do not have access. Please include student’s name and parent and/or guardian name. I will arrange for device pickup. Parent/guardian will sign a contract that outlines device responsibility and return.
The teachers will update the grade in Infinite Campus after all the work has been completed.
- My student is passing, can my student improve their final grade?
Student that want to bring their grades up must have completed all the required work (from January 7, 2020 to March 13, 2020) for the other courses prior to going back to bring their grade up in another course.
Lab teachers will look back in the required course work and reset the test with the lowest grades. This will allow the grade to increase at a faster rate.
- How do I contact my child’s lab teacher?
